This Unit was established in the seventies, it was called Neurology Unit. In 1991, it was reorganized and expanded, to become Neurophysiology Unit.

This unit is equipped with the latest devices in the field of Neuroelectrophysiology, such as Video EEG; which is a very advanced device, considered as the first of its kind in Jordan for its ability to accurately identify and diagnose Epilepsy.

This unit is supervised by qualified and specialized clinicians, as well as qualified technicians trained in the field of EGG, NCS, and EMG.

Neurophysiology Unit conducts surgical operations and Electrocorticography, considered as the first of its kind in Jordan and the region for its advanced scientific, medical, and technical level.

This unit has achieved an excellence in the field of pediatric Nerve Conduction Studies. Its main current concentration is on surgical epilepsy and vagal nerve stimulator research.
